Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining both externally and internally recognised technical expertise in a number of the following areas:

-Operational Resilience;

-IT and Cyber Risk Management/Transformation;

-Digital Resilience;

-IT Internal Audit technical SMR support;

-Third-Party Risk Transformation;

-AI & Data Governance, Risk Management and Compliance

  • End to end leadership of client engagements, leading and coaching our team on both a day-to-day basis and as part of assignment delivery
  • Leading out on business development activities (e.g. pursuits, proposals, events, thought leadership etc.).
  • Identify, nurture and manage client relationships as part of our management team
  • Effectively manage client-facing delivery teams
  • Ensuring that risk management procedures and quality standards are observed throughout assignment delivery
  • Fostering and developing strong networks (local, area, global) with key service line champions in the global firm

To qualify for the role, you must have:

  • Experience working in an IT risk and control environment at Senior Manager level or equivalent
  • University graduate preferably from Computer Science/Information Technology background
  • 8-10+ years of experience of consulting experience in Resilience or Operational/IT Risk Management or Cyber and with at least 2-3 years at management level. Also experience in IT, project management, service delivery, regulatory etc. is of relevance.

Ideally, you will also have:

  • Big 4 management experience and training
  • Knowledge of relevant regulation and guidelines impacting the financial services industry in particular DORA, Operational Resilience, Outsourcing and Third-Party Risk Management
  • Financial services industry experience, i.e. retail banking, insurance, funds, capital markets, payment processors etc.
  • Knowledge and experience of emerging technology, FinTech, Cloud services and Cybersecurity
  • Knowledge of relevant frameworks and standards (e.g., COBIT, ITIL, ISO 27001x, SOC 1/2/3, NIST, CSA CCM, COSO)
  • CISA/CISSP/CISM/CRISC/CSX/COBIT qualification
