The Senior Product Manager is responsible and accountable for product management, marketing activities or projects on a franchise level. The emphasis is on strategic development, driving change and innovation and executing on a level that benefits not only the product franchise, but also the entire organization.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Independently develop, key global business planning activities and ensure accuracy and conformity in forecasting and supply chain, operations and budget management.
  • Within own portfolio, identify new markets and new franchise opportunities.
  • Influence upstream projects and launch cadence, providing guidance/direction for TDP/PDP and advisory board concept, organization, and execution; represent franchise projects and interests at PIB and TRB meetings, and assist in preparing and presenting at business planning team meetings.
  • Partner with franchise management to execute market science programs, to formulate franchise market segmentation, product positioning, messaging and concept-marketing techniques, and to develop tools and channel strategy and enhance key opinion leader relationships.
  • Contribute to setting market development and planning priorities.
  • Contribute to franchise global downstream marketing and sales, and suggest means to improve strategy and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to understanding key industry dynamics and trends and in formulating strategy and concept messaging techniques.
  • Network with colleagues in other franchises and cross-functional departments to enhance own franchise systems and processes to accomplish “best in class” business objectives.
  • Demonstrates a primary commitment to patient safety and product quality. Understands and complies with all regulations governing the quality systems.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience managing clinically-oriented products
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience in developing impactful marketing plans, positioning, and value propositions
  • Ability to build productive relationships with customers and cross-functional partners
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25-35%

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or advanced degree in a related field
  • Experience with medical devices
  • Demonstrated success in developing high-impact marketing strategies and value propositions
  • 3-5 years relevant experience
