What to Expect

As a Works Council Partner, you are organized,self-motivated, proactive, and entrepreneurial. This is a great opportunity towork at a fast-growing, highly diversified, and dynamic company. A wide degreeof self-motivation is expected. Success and accomplishment drive you and youare known for your fresh thinking and ability to vigilantly view a situationfrom all perspectives. You will communicate with Tesla Leadership and StatutoryDirectors and will advise them on the rights of the Works Council and guidethem through the code-termination process. Furthermore, you will meet regularlywith the Works Council and discuss the implementation of company agreements.

What You’ll Do
  • You act as an in-house expert on collectivelabor law issues and draft and negotiate (general) works agreements.
  • You work actively, constructively, andresponsibly at local Works Council level with the co-determination bodies.
  • You develop principles for cooperation withall employee representation committees and advise Tesla Leadership, HR and the StatutoryDirectors in this regard.
  • Develop trust and collaborativerelationships with Tesla Leadership, Statutory Directors and HR who manage WorksCouncil relationships.
  • Devise the strategy and materials, ensuringan effective feedback and escalation process to project owners to enableon-time deployment of corporate change initiatives.
  • Develop HR and business leadershipcompetency on Works Council engagement and co-determination requirements.
  • Coordinate with HR, Legal and otherdepartments across EMEA to create and sustain positive employee relations and facilitateeffective communications between employees and Tesla Leadership and Statutory Directors
What You’ll Bring
  • You ideally have experience workingeither in a law firm and/or in-house legal department and/or customer facingcompany department, ideally with a background in employment law
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Law (EmploymentLaw), Human Resources, or another related field
  • Extensive experience in dealing with Works Councilsand conducting negotiations with them
  • Experience and expertise in the creation ofcompany agreements for Works Council engagement
  • You are a quick and flexible learner:intellectually curious, open-minded, adaptable, comfortable with ambiguity andrisk, and excited by dynamic change
  • You inspire trust, forge relationshipsquickly, and earn the confidence and cooperation of your business partners. Youhave strong interpersonal skills, and can effectively navigate and leveragerelationships at all levels of any organization
  • You have excellent communication skills,with a business level to near native level fluency in English (written andspoken). Excellent communication skills in Dutch is a plus.
