What you’ll do:

The University Relations Specialist will be responsible for building relationships and developing innovative strategies that differentiate Citi on campus. Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with universities with the aim of positioning Citi as an employer of choice for students

  • Work closely with the recruitment team to understand their hiring needs and ensure the university relations strategy supports this

  • Develop a schedule of events aimed at attracting students to apply for roles at Citi. This will include working on event logistics for on campus events, virtual events and careers fairs

  • Work in partnership with the wider global university relations team on planning and execution of virtual events

  • Work in partnership with the Talent Attraction Engagement and Diversity team on marketing campaigns to promote campus events and early careers roles

  • Support the team with logistics for events including registration, managing suppliers, room bookings, catering etc

  • Manage the relationship with our logistics provider and acting as the main point-of-contact both in advance and on the day of events

  • Payment processing of invoices

What we’ll need from you:

  • Experience in a similar role

  • Event management experience

  • Recruitment & Human Resources background highly desired

  • Willingness to travel to universities in Poland, Hungary, Germany and Switzerland (up to 15%); mostly in March and September-October

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks

  • Experience of managing a variety of stakeholders

  • Experience of working in a global organisation would be an advantage

  • University degree or equivalent experience
