What You’ll Do What You’ll Bring
- Performs hands-on, on-site physical inspection of products in the field including heavily compromised HV battery products.
- Analyze trends across current and historic Incident Investigations and works with component engineers to identify and implement product improvements.
- Liaise with factory and design engineering teams to investigate failure modes and effects for issues related to safety systems.
- Prioritize, quantify and report Product Integrity topics with subject matter experts on a weekly basis with actionable data
- Takes on Safety Incident Investigations and drive them to resolution
- 5 years experience in the automotive industry or other relevant engineering experience
- Hands on experience in working on live High Voltage assemblies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Maintain and exercise professional integrity at the highest level
- A rigorous, methodical and organized approach to tasks and documentation
- A collaborative and communicative approach to investigating complex problems
- Willingness to collaborate cross-functionally with other teams while maintaining the ability to work independently; detail and execution oriented
- Fire investigation experience is an advantag
