The position is responsible for the execution of the HCP strategy, evaluation of market conditions, identification of issues and opportunities within the therapeutic category (CNS/Neurology), development of campaigns/tactics which target Health Care Providers (HCPs) aligned with the overarching brand strategies and objectives. The Associate Director reports to the Marketing Director and works with internal Teva colleagues, sales coworkers and agency partners to develop HCP content and prepare for their implementation and launch.
ESSENTIAL AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.
Education/Certification/Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or master’s degree in marketing preferred
• 7-10 years’ experience in marketing and/or sales required
• Experience in managing an Agency of Record or other agencies that support a brand required
• Experience in CNS/Neurology strongly preferred
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
• Excellent verbal, written, organization and interpersonal skills required
• Strong pharmaceutical industry and business acumen
• Able to draw insights from variety of sources, understands market and competition. Compiles relevant data from appropriate sources and performs analysis with a recommendation.
• Synthesizes complex and diverse information, recognizes trends and/or interrelationships.
• Ability to meet objectives and deadlines
• Project management experience and the ability to manage and coordinate projects with multiple internal partners and vendors.
• Demonstrated leadership ability including cross-functional and global teams
• Manage complexity and urgency
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Occasional:
• Sitting for extended periods of time at work station or mobile equipment.
Visual Acuity:
• Perform activities such as computer work, preparing and analyzing data, and extensive reading.
WORKING ENVIRONMENT
• May be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as needed on site visits (i.e. safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, etc.).
The annual starting salary for this position is between $146,160 – 191,835 annually. Factors which may affect starting salary within this range and level of role may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
