As an E-Commerce Account Manager you will simultaneously balance long terms strategies with short term tactics and administration. You will be responsible for building/maintaining direct relationships and seeking new growth opportunities. You will share revenue and profit accountability with the category(s) Business Managers and be involved in developing, modifying, and executing company strategies and objectives. You will manage account and channel strategies for a product category(s) within assigned business unit(s) to ensure and exceed revenue goals, product assortment and profitable sell-through.
Minimum Qualifications:
BA/BS degree
Must have 5-7 years of related experience. In lieu of degree must have 9-11 years of related experience
Clear understanding of the market and key indicators
Maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
Experience with forecasting, sales analysis, MDF and budget management
Knowledge of and experience executing various negotiation strategies
Must understand issues with the account and solve for them
Strong conceptual and analytical skills
Extensive knowledge of consumer electronic products, including Sony product line
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent business planning, presentation and communication skills
Ability to adapt to rapidly changing environments and business conditions while delivering results
Must demonstrate foresight of future implications of current decisions
Excellent organizational savvy and problem solving skills
Basic Microsoft Office skills, including MS Word, Excel, Power Point
Ability to travel as the job requires, approximately 25%
Qualified candidate should be geographically located in the San Diego, CA
Preferred Qualifications:
MBA preferred
Digital marketing experience preferred
The anticipated base pay range for this position is $92,000 to $123,000. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
