The Cash & Trade Proc Int Assoc Analyst is an entry level role responsible for assisting on any projects and initiatives related to cash management in coordination with the Transaction Services team. The overall objective is to ensure transactions are completed with accuracy and on time, while helping various internal roles related to cash management.Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and ensure transactions processes are executed correctly and are compliant with internal policies and controls
  • Assist in the investigation, documentation and corrective action implementation of all required issues as directed
  • Aid with the transition, alignment, and stabilization efforts of critical operations functions
  • Assist as required for control, risk, daily activities, and transaction services projects
  • Provide informal guidance or on the job training to new team members as required
  • Cross-train for various internal roles within the department, and provide back-up coverage for those roles as needed
  • Anticipate and respond to requests for deliverables from internal and external clients and vendors
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


Qualifications:

  • 0-2 years o relevant experience
  • Demonstrated cash and trade operations experience & knowledge
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfortable with data entry
  • Bilingual: Spanish/English a plus


Education:

  • Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience


This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.

  • The position includes working directly with Global Billing partners inclusive of technology, Account Managers, Relationship Managers, Product managers, and Finance/Reconcilement teams.
  • Daily tasks include complex customer analysis and solutioning of customer needs and issues along with a dedicated focus specific to accounting breaks across various regions, currencies, and systems.
  • Participate in projectwork as necessary inclusive of researching the business, development of processes, procedure writing and stream lining of Billing functions.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management on a daily basis.
  • Escalation of collection items/accounting breaks to ensure timely follow up and resolution to aging.
  • Review processes to identify efficiencies and implement process improvements.
  • Candidate must have excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills - interpersonal, written, and verbal.
  • Must be highly motivated, self starter, quick learner, flexible and adaptable to an ever changing work environment while adhering to deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently, as a member of the team, and have the ability to lead.
  • Candidate must be detail oriented and possess strong investigation and problem solving techniques.
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively under pressure to meet stringent deadlines in a high paced environment.
  • Demonstrated experience working globally/internationally a plus.
  • Proven track record in Operations environment

Weekend Work and Flexibility around working different time zone hours may be required to support different regions and/or releases.
