The Key Responsibilities include:

  • Provides enterprise architecture guidance to transformation leaders, applying RISE Methodology and Clean Core principles (main focus in Adopt and Derive):
  • Be the Transformation Partner for the CIO (or other CxO business transformation sponsor at customer's), driving architecture effectiveness.
  • Shape the agenda and acts as trusted advisor (engagement development)
  • Prepare & Support adoption towards full consumption, identifying and mitigating technical adoption risks.
  • Align with partner to SAP's Clean Core mantra and promote SAP best practices.
  • Provide customer context to all teams requested to contribute to the overall customer transformation effort to improve customer proximity and experience. Partner with the respective development organisations to provide input to architecture roadmaps based on field customer and partner experience
  • Engage with MUs, Regional, and Global Stakeholders to maximize the use of SAP assets and network for customers worldwide. Work hand-in-hand with the Account team from the Select phase for the Customer Value Journey. Lead the SAP team through the ADOPT and DERIVE phases. Work closely with the PDM, E-CSM, TQM, etc. roles to advise them on expert architectural services that the customer might need.
  • Support strategic collaboration with our Partner ecosystem
  • Promote and develop the use of tools and methodology to spread their consistent use throughout the organisation. Supports the Clean Core success plan execution in deriving clear recommendations using the RISE Methodology. Use (publicly available) SAP Reference architecture, content and best practices to guide towards an enterprise architecture with clean core principles.
  • Act as Role Model leading key customer transformations driving innovation adoption and building trust.
  • Representing the affairs of SAP externally as an ambassador of SAP, its strategy, values, and culture.

What you bring

  • Customer Focus : Strong focus on the customer and customer success outcomes.
  • Architecture : Solid experience in a customer experience role (e.g., Program Manager, Architect, Customer Engagement, Customer Advisory). Solid understanding and Experience in end-to-end architectural design for hybrid solution landscapes. Proven knowledge of SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework and Toolset, SAP Integration Advisory Methodology, SAP Extensibility Advisory Methodology, SAP RISE Methodology, Clean Core principles and AI strategy.
  • SAP Solutions : Solid knowledge of SAP’s product, technology, and services portfolio from a customer value perspective. Excellent and proven knowledge and delivery experience in S/4HANA and cloud solutions. Ideally, proven knowledge of On-Premises solutions and its corresponding cloud solutions. BTP Certifications (e.g. Integration Suite, Extension Suite, SAP Build).
  • Methodology & Tools : Experience in using SAP LeanIX & Signavio as tools to document Enterprise Architectures & Business Processes. Professional Training & Certification (e.g., SAP Enterprise Architecture Framework featured by LeanIX EAM, SAP Certified Professional-Enterprise Architect [P_SAPEA_2023], TOGAF) as a plus.
  • Business transformation : Proven experience delivering enterprise Business transformation through Application delivery.
  • Cultural Ambassador : Acts as a cultural ambassador to SAP’s values, How We Run Behaviors and Leadership Credo at all times, demonstrating outstanding integrity and vision internally as well as externally.
  • Strong Network & Collaboration Skills : Strong Senior Leadership network within SAP across various board areas as well as key C-Suite stakeholders in the immediate ecosystem of SAP. Have experience of managing effectively in a networked and matrixed team environment. Excellent at conflict management, setting common interests and collaborating with other departments.
  • Innovator : Always approach problem solving with ingenuity, without being limited by resource constraints
  • Communication & Presentation Skills: Excellent executive-level communication, collaboration, influencing and negotiation skills, at senior manager level both inside an IT team and across business functions.. Strong written, verbal communication and presentation skills; ability to present and discuss strategies and technical information in a manner that establishes rapport, persuades others, and establishes understanding for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Multi-organization Experience : Ability to understand extremely varied cultural and business environments, globally. Good understanding on the latest SAP organization and leadership members and strong understanding of CS&D business portfolio. Excellent interpersonal skills in areas such as teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation - able to lead customer engagements at an executive level.
  • Executional Excellence : Ability to consistently achieve results and exceed targets.
  • Business performance : Possesses extensive general business acumen and a mindset for the end-to-end customer value. Prioritizes constantly, multi-tasks and decides on the fly – must feel comfortable making independent decisions that have significant impact.
  • Language : Fluency in English and Portuguese (or Spanish). Any other language an asset.
  • Education : Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent accreditation required; Master’s Degree or MBA Preferred
