Key Responsibilities:
- Develops and communicates long term strategy and vision for SSA Region in line with overall HPS business strategic vision
- Ensures a close partnership with HPS sales organization including development and review of a healthy pipeline of orders as well as engages on pre-sales opportunities on strategy and customer presentations
- Provides leadership to program teams around business plans for customer terms/conditions of contracts
- Establishes and maintains management operating system to monitor and address the health of the business
- Working with cross functional teams, provides significant input to overall HPS STRAP and AOP
- Responsible for selecting and developing top program/project management talent, building a delivery focused environment
- Teams with other functional business leaders to ensure most effective use of resources across the PAS and ultimately HPS business
- Incorporates cost savings and process improvement into overall operating model
- Responsible for overall financial performance of SSA PAS & HPS including Orders, Revenue, Gross Profit, and Operating
- Income necessary to achieve AOP
- Build a high performing projects org. by continually investing, building on the capabilities of the project managers while ensuring 100% deployment of project management tools, processes and guidelines on projects execution and commissioning
- Own and drive diversification and growth in newer markets by building the skill set and competencies on projects execution for newer verticals
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- General Manager / P&L experience required especially in a projects business
- Knowledge of Process Instrumentation & controls, Automation in Energy Transition & Sustainability initiatives, Oil & Gas
- Midstream Industry and Hybrid / Discrete manufacturing segments
- Experience working cross-functionally across the global organization
- Excellent relationship management skills, along with the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments concurrently, including ability to evaluate and manage priorities
- Effective interpersonal and communications skills, particularly the ability to communicate technical expertise and lead multi-discipline teams
