Experience in technical/pre-sales support as a sales or systems engineer
Experience in LAN/WAN/Internet services administration
Experience with Wireless technologies, deploying, supporting, and doing site surveys.
Solid understanding of Wireless Authentication technologies
Strong understanding of TCP/IP Suite.
Understanding of Cloud technologies.
Knowledge of the following technologies: Routing, Switching, VPN, LAN, WAN, VLAN, Network Security, Firewall, Intrusion Detection, and anti-virus.
Solid understanding of most of the following technologies and protocols: SD-WAN, SASE, ZTNA, SIEM, XDR, EDR, WAF, Email Security, NAC, CASB, RADIUS, PKI, IKE, Certificates, IPSEC, 802.1Q, MD5, SSH, SSL, LDAP, SHA1, DES, 3DES, DNS, HTTP, FTP, TCP, UDP, SMTP, ICMP, NTP, SNMP, DHCP, SAML.
Experience with encryption and authentication technologies required
Strong presentation skills
Fluent in English
Certifications: CCIE, CISSP
Job duties and responsibilities:
Pre-sales - assist in qualifying sales lead s from a technical standpoint.
Sales calls - Be the main technical resource on sales calls and answer/ educate the customer on issues ranging from features, specifications, functionality, and integration.
Conversant with networking applications and solutions .
Post-sales - Be the lead technical contact for identified accounts with technical issues and work closely with the technical support team and engineering to answer, elevate, and resolve customers’ technical issues.
Assist identified customers with post-sales training.
