As a vital leader in our Aviation team, you’ll work on challenging programs that depend on your vision, expertise, intuition, and leadership to plan, direct, and monitor all aspects of complex program delivery. Your knowledge will guide impactful programs and projects with a high degree of technical complexity from concept stage through detailed design, construction, operational readiness, and asset management services. You’ll lead multidisciplinary teams, subcontractors, and consultants to complete tasks within established schedules and budgets and advance our business development strategies. You’ll be empowered to deliver the boldest solutions for our aviation clients. Your success will contribute to continual growth of a resilient, multidiscipline Aviation business, while increasing client satisfaction, market share, improved profit, and stronger employee retention. Aviation market contributions will include business planning, strategy development, and quarterly reviews. Internally, you’ll also collaborate directly with our Client Account Managers and Regional Aviation Leadership.
We’ll Also Ask you to:
- Clarify the program’s vision and strategy, and ensure efforts are prioritized to support them
- Coordinate and/or oversee design, construction, and operational readiness activities with airport clients, consultants, stakeholders, and airlines
- When necessary, coordinate with regulatory agencies and serve as a liaison between clients and other agencies
- Assist with proposal development and participate in interviews and presentations
- Take an active role and participate in Canada aviation industry trade organizations, including presentation of papers, publications, and serving on select committees
Qualifications:
- Relevant degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business or related field; Master’s degree a plus
- Strong aviation infrastructure experience
- Strong leadership skills with ability to relate to technical staff and external clients
- Ability to articulate a clear vision and build cohesive teams, and provide excellent social, networking, and presentation skills
- Previous work experience at multiple commercial and general aviation airports
- Ability to manage multiple diverse projects simultaneously
- Experience managing consultants, contractors, and senior managers
- Previous experience as a program manager, senior project manager or senior project engineer on multiple projects
- Experience with planning/scheduling, budgeting, and risk management concepts and tools
- Flexibility to serve large and complex programs and clients across the United States and Canada
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- Registered Professional Engineer or Architect, PMP, PgMP and/or equivalent
- Experience with program governance and a variety of program management organizational models
- Previous work experience navigating local, state, and federal permitting agencies and requirements
