As a Transfer Pricing Manager, you'll thoroughly and accurately analyze information, apply economic/financial knowledge to client situations and develop effective approaches to clients' financial circumstances. Subsequently, you'll take a lead in developing recommendations and implementation plans.
You'll also develop and deliver transfer pricing and economic ideas with timely, responsive services/work products, and identify opportunities for transfer pricing and other special services. In addition, you'll prepare documentation, participate in advance pricing agreements (APAs) and prepare documentation to support transfer pricing in audits.
As a manager, you'll also work in the valuation of intangible assets and develop practical planning services. You will demonstrate dedication to quality in all aspects of your work, which will include managing client service team members and contributing to the achievement of team goals.
Client responsibilities:
- Participate in transfer pricing engagements - Assist in managing engagement economics by organizing staffing, tracking fees and communicating issues to project leaders
- Participate in business development initiatives
- Build strong internal relationships within the transfer pricing team and across other services
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for day-to-day operations of the sub service line or team/group within the Tax Service line
- Deliver work by consistently applying designated methodology, processes, standards and technology tools
- Ensures delivery on the Work Order with respect to turnaround, quality, handling workflow distribution, meeting, volume levels, etc.
- Act as single point of contact on engagements for Users regarding service delivery and day-to-day operations
- Monitor metrics for service delivery, opportunities for improving customer satisfaction and implement appropriate modifications to process as may be needed
- Help implement strategic initiatives, as defined by Service Line Leaders
People responsibilities:
- Help people to develop through effectively supervising, coaching and mentoring staff
- Conduct performance reviews and contribute to performance feedback for staff
- Contribute to people initiatives, including recruiting, retaining and training transfer pricingprofessionals
- Maintain an educational program to develop personal skills on an ongoing basis
- Understand and follow workplace policies and procedures
Requirements:
- The candidate must demonstrate project management, leadership, communication, relationship building, analytical, interpersonal, multi-tasking and organization skills. A focus on quality and attention to detail is required.
- The candidate must also demonstrate advanced understanding of the principles of VAT and be able to guide the team in applying the same.
- The candidate will have responsibility to handle multiple engagements within the practice assigned and therefore must have the ability to multi-task.
- As the candidate will work extensively with various technology tools, should show strong proficiency in effectively using computer / technology.
Qualification:
- Advanced degree in Economics, Law, Business Administration, Finance, Tax or Accounting
- +7 years of experience with transfer pricing, or similar experience and an understanding of complex transfer pricing concepts
- Strong managerial experience organizational, project management
- Advanced/ proficient verbal and written English communication
- The ability to thrive within a fast-paced, professional services environment
