Microsoft AI is looking for a talented Android engineer to help build the next wave of capabilities of our personalized AI assistant, Copilot.looking for someone who will bring an abundance of positive energy, empathy, and kindness to the team every day, in addition to being highly effective. The Native Engineering teamis responsible forleading and building the core experience of Copilot on iOS and Android, while collaborating with our Product Management, Design and AI Research teams.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experiencedeveloping mobile applications for Android platformswith coding in languages including, but not limited to,Kotlin, Objective-C, or Java
  • OR equivalent experience.
• Working knowledge of mobile application architecture, design patterns, and UI/UX principles.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 10+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to,Kotlin, Objective-C, or Java

  • OR Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 8+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to,Kotlin, Objective-C, or Java

  • OR equivalent experience.

• Contributions to open-source projects.

• Experience building iOS applications from scratch.
• Demonstratedwritten and verbal communication skillswith the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers.
• Passion for learningnew technologiesand staying up to date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in mobile development and AI.
• Proven ability to collaborate and contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment, fostering knowledge sharing and growth within the team.

- The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $112,000 - $218,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $145,800 - $238,600 per year.Software Engineering IC5
