What you'll do:

As a Data Engineer within the CLM AM Apps and Analytics Team you take over accountability for excellent execution of SAP’s Cloud strategy. You will work with the latest technology towards data engineering and analytics. You will be handling the full development cycle, from discussing requirements with our (internal) customers, to design, architecture, implementation, bug fixing and troubleshooting.

In your role as Data Engineer, you will work closely with international colleagues together on development data engineering projects with the following activities:

• Data ingestion and data management
• Efficient data processing
• Optimize and simplify existing pipelines and code. Perform agile prototyping to evaluate which solution fits best for cloud operations.
• Dig into SAP´s cloud business and collaborate closely with stakeholder from SAP´s cloud business

What you bring:

• Knowledge in Python is a must, PySpark is a plus
• Knowledge of SQL / database development
• Knowledge in object-oriented programming
• Knowledge of fundamental web technologies, like OData, http, SOAP, XML, REST is a plus
• Experience in test-driven development as well as model-driven development
• Knowledge in working with GIT
• Strong open-minded communication and presentation skills for stakeholder management and end-user support
• Language: English fluent is must
