Responsibilities that include data analysis and identification of process improvement. The role will span all operations on site and will give the successful candidate a very good understanding of all aspects of the operation Projects will incorporate lean manufacturing, theory of constraints, quick response manufacturing, Just-In-Time, Methods-Time Measurement, or a variety of other systems improvement philosophies.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in the analyzing, designing, and implementation of manufacturing and business process improvement, resulting in increased capacity, reduce lead-time, reduction in the work-in-process, improve fill rates, and improve process flow and efficiency.
  • Assisting in the design, implementation, and maintenance of effective metrics with internal customers or suppliers to ensure unbridled supply is achieved.
  • Participates in multiple facets groups across the organization including manufacturing, design, supplier development, and documentation.
  • Create strong relationships with internal and external customers to ensure project success.
  • Makes recommendations to design teams, which drive higher yielding, lower cost, and more manufacturable products.
  • Work with process Owners to create shopfloor paperwork and SWRs
  • Print off the SFP needed and kit with build including any additional SFP needed provided by engineers
  • Raw materials in SAP in charge of ordering them from warehouse
  • Work with Lab owner to schedule equipment time to meet project needs
  • Coordinate with pilot MDS on priority for the day/week to meet schedule and deadlines
  • Check for GDP errors and if parameters are met before they move builds between factories/labs
  • Manage the build order status and update the tracker on status of the builds
  • Interface with build owners if there is any issues with the builds. Machine down time, process issues, and material issues.
  • Once build is finished drop off to Quality Tech or Tech Writer assigned to have scanned and upload and for final check of the SFP
  • Shipping
  • Sterilization Requests
  • Track Inventory and monitor it and let the appropriate people know when low
  • Should have or be familiar with MES/SAP/Teams knowledge

Required qualifications:

  • 1 year with an AA degree or an equivalent combination of education/work experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • Attention to detail
  • Microscope experience
  • Self-driven / does not need a high level of work direction
  • Tooling
  • Laser welding
  • Nitinol experience
  • Chemical handling
