As a, you will play a leading role on our engagement teams, providing robust and high-quality analysis to support the successful delivery of projects that tackle the most prominent development, policy, and business concerns.
Main responsibilities

• Lead specific workstreams and provide guidance to junior members of the team
• Quickly develop economic and consulting toolkits including problem solving, modelling, data analytics, primary research, report writing, and effective synthesis
• Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to analyze economic trends, market dynamics, and industry developments. Lead the preparation of economic reports, feasibility studies, and impact assessments
• Develop and maintain economic models and databases
• Stay abreast of latest economic research, methodologies, and industry advancements
• Participate actively in professional development opportunities and leverage internal resources to enhance your skill set
• Support senior executives in business development activities such as contributing to proposal development
  

What we are looking for

• Degree in economics (minimum 2:1) from a reputable university with a strong academic track record. Master's degree is a plus
• 3-6 years of working experience, preferably in a consulting / client facing environment
• Possesses independence and excellent problem-solving abilities
• Strong knowledge of econometric techniques, economic modelling, statistical analysis tools, and financial modeling
• Strong ability to draw out relevant insights from the analysis and present them through compelling narratives
• Well versed in economic topics including but not limited to country growth prospects, labour market dynamics, government policies, and international and economic development
• Strong numerical, writing, and communication skills
• Demonstrate a sense of ownership and accountability for projects and client deliverables. Take responsibility for the quality and timely completion of assigned tasks, ensuring that they meet or exceed client expectations
• Intellectual curiosity, driven, and exhibit willingness to learn and work collaboratively
