Automation Engineer (QA)to lead and oversee the quality assurance efforts for our software projects. This role involves ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable, and high-performing software by combining functionalin QA methodologies, performance testing, automation frameworks, and cloud-based environments, including AWS.

  • Leadership and Decision Making: Proven experience with leadership and critical decision making in a fast-paced environment.
    Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
    Functional QA and domain expertise.
    Proficiency in performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling.Strong experience with automation testing frameworks like Playwright and Selenium.
    Hands-on experience with Chaos Engineering using tools like Gremlin.
    Understanding of containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
    Familiarity with AWS services and related cloud technologies.
    Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating QA tools.
    Knowledge of API testing tools like Postman or REST Assured.
    Exposure to Agile and DevOps methodologies.

Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, fostering a culture of quality and accountability.
• Define QA strategies, processes, and best practices to ensure robust testing standards.
• Collaborate with development team, product, and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration of testing processes.
• Oversee and execute functional testing to validate the application's functionality and user workflows.
• Provide domain expertise to ensure accurate and context-aware testing for enterprise applications.
• Plan QA roadmap and provide accurate estimations for QA life cycle.
• Be ready to take up new challenges and learn new skills.
• Effectively communicate progress and challenges to the stakeholders.


You will have an advantage if you also have:

  • Experience with Contact Center as a Service or Platform as a Service type of products.
    Exposure to services such as AWS DynamoDB, ECR, ECS
    Familiarity with backend integration testing with REST and gRPC based communicatio
