Act as a subject matter expert for the product area, including a deep understanding of product area total addressable market (TAM), competitor landscape, technology innovations, customer sentiment, partner ecosystem, start-up environment, etc.
Understand market and competitive developments to inform product positioning, market segmentation, product service/support strategy, pricing, and packaging
Define the go-to-market strategies and launch plans that detail how products will be brought to market
Develop compelling positioning and messaging that differentiates the solution portfolio in market
Create and manage a core set of compelling customer-facing assets, including brochures, PPTs, videos, white papers, etc. to be integrated into marketing programs, including events, digital campaigns, etc. Identify asset gaps, and champion creation of new assets as required
Support enablement efforts focused on messaging, value prop, competitive positioning, objection handling, etc. to sales teams including partners to support awareness, lead gen and solution adoption efforts.
Work with pre-sales to ensure all demos and demo scripts reflect the latest positioning of our solutions
Update analysts and influencers to create favorable mindshare and establish thought leadership
What you’ll bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field
10+ years of experience in solution/product marketing preferably within an enterprise SaaS organization
Experience working on supply chain or procurement solutions a plus
You are a storyteller with a passion for technology, marketing, innovation and SaaS solutions
You can distill complex and highly technical ideas into meaningful assets, adapted by audience and industry
You thrive in fast-paced environments, are flexible and able to adapt to changing scenarios, someone who rolls up their sleeves and gets the job done
You have experience working with teams spread across a geographically dispersed, multi-disciplined organization
