About the role

Core objective of this role is to support the Territory Manager in achieving the goals and objectives of the Division they represent. To aid the achievement of customer satisfaction and business growth through focused business planning.

  • The candidate should have a college degree and sales experience (2 to 4 years at least in medical devices).
  • Demonstrates a commercial acumen always looking how to transform a No into a Yes.
  • Proven analytical, planning and negotiation skills, as well as strategic thinking.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Responsible for developing, building, and strengthening long-term relationships with stakeholders including hospitals, distributors and healthcare professionals.
  • Responsible for looking for opportunities to increase share in Mexico city and surroundings.
  • Delivers sales and distribution targets in territory.
  • Coordinates with the back-office team (Customer Service, Operations, Marketing, Finance etc..) to solve customer requests.
  • Negotiate and processes customer orders to achieve quota.
  • The position may require presence at Operating or Cathlab room to support Physicians, surgery services and follow up to patients,
  • English (medium to advanced level) spoken and written.

Your responsibilities will include

  • Develop an in-depth knowledge of the products and services provided by the division.
  • Visit customers and / or potential customers of Boston Scientific on a regular and planned basis to promote products and services to achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets, as agreed with your manager.
  • Managing of existing and acquiring of new customers in the assigned territory.
  • Consequently, planning and developing the market for our existing and new products according with divisional goals and objectives, through execution, while optimize available tools (consignment etc.).
  • Ongoing technical training and support to customers directly in the cathlabs.
  • Competent contact person for hospital management, purchasing department and hospital staff.
  • Attend meetings, conferences and exhibitions as required to promote Boston Scientific products and services.
  • To represent Boston Scientific values and integrity.
  • Participate in development of less experienced staff members.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or degree Biomedical Engineering, nursing, hemodynamic technician or similar.
  • Advanced English.
  • Microsoft Office.
