As a key technical support force in the production department, the automation engineer is committed to applying automation technology and engineering methods to optimize production processes, enhance the automation level of equipment, and ensure the stable and efficient operation of production lines. This aims to maximize production efficiency, optimize product quality, and help the enterprise achieve cost control and safety production goals, driving production manufacturing towards intelligence and refinement.

Your responsibilities will be to:

  • Upgrade of Automated Production Lines: conduct in-depth research on production process requirements, collaborate with process engineers to analyze existing production line bottlenecks, and customize renovation for automated production lines; lead the implementation of automated production line upgrade projects, monitor the entire process of mechanical installation, electrical wiring, and debugging.

  • Troubleshooting of Automated Production Equipment: establish and implement a daily autonomous inspection system for production equipment, monitor the operating status; in the equipment down time, respond quickly and release the signal, locate the root cause of the failure.

  • Integration and Optimization of Automation Systems and Production Processes: embed automation technology into each node of the production process, adjust the operating parameters of the automation system according to material replenishment requirements.

  • Personnel Training and Technical Support: conduct training courses on the operation; prepare practical operation instructions when new technologies and new processes are introduced into the production department.

  • Cross-Departmental Collaboration: maintain close communication with MD, PsE, Quality, and other departments; establish a stable cooperative relationship with MD and TR to promote continuous improvement.

Our requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above majoring in engineering, preferably in mechanical, industrial, or manufacturing engineering.

  • 10 years of experience in production engineering, exposure in automotive industry is a must, with a proven track record in automation deployment.

  • Proficiency in process design, fixture design, and quality control tools. Knowledge of digital manufacturing technologies is a plus.

  • Familiar with tools like SPC, MSA, FMEA, etc.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Problem - solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to drive continuous improvement are essential.
