Job Summary:
As an Associate in the Markets Asset Servicing team, you are responsible for Income events across EMEA, WHEM & ASIA markets. You are required to ensure timely and accurate processing of income events, collection / payment of claims, timely reconciliation cash, stocks, wash across our Fixed Income / Equity and Prime Business. We work closely with internal stakeholders including trading desks, sales, finance and other operations team and work in partnership with clients, custodians, agents, depo, and 3rd party service providers. You will be responsible to execute goals and objectives set up to deliver core business deliverables. This interaction enables employees to gain an insight into other operations and obtain a high-level knowledge of the diverse range of the J.P. Morgan products.
Manage business, process & stakeholders
- Act as a point of contact for clients / internal stakeholder [Add Info] for all escalations and ensure adequate coverage by service teams
- Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Key Process Indicators (KRIs) in a proactive way
- Oversee the team activities to ensure they are carried out in an efficient, controlled, and timely manner
- Escalate production-related issues, ensuring continuity of service while simultaneously managing effective resolution with key stakeholders
- Exercise sound judgment; act with integrity; protect our company, clients, and customers
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the functions managed
- Effectively lead teams toward robust set of delivery milestones. Understand and mitigate risks, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies within the processes
- Communicate efficiently and effectively with Senior Management & escalate issues in a timely manner
- Assist in managing Operations – Manage Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), Key Risk Indicators
- Drive process improvement / automation initiatives
- Manage team’s daily work volumes and transactions accurately, within established deadlines, and in accordance with existing policies and procedure
- Experience of supervising the daily operational activities for a team is essential
Manage Risk
- Perform periodic end to end process review, identify gaps if any & collaborate with control partners and relevant stakeholders to remediate process gaps
- Drive automation of new and existing processes using firm wide process transformation tools to enhance efficiency, reduce risk, improve controls, drive client experience
- Maintain documented procedures and ensure adherence to and compliance with firm policies and regulatory requirement
- Deploy effective X training to ensure all critical functions have in built resiliencies
Manage People
- Provide leadership - setting clear goals, strategies, and goals for the function

- Perform process re-engineering activities, support automations, identify and close process gaps, support remediation activities
- Drive process improvement / automation initiatives
- Conduct GAP analysis; identify key areas of risk and impact to the business to ensure adequate detective and preventative controls are in place
- Experience of driving change to improve team processes to delivery efficiency and/or reduce risk
- Continuous improvement and change management mindset, questioning conventional ways of managing the business and driving change to improve processes
Manage Client
- Deliver appropriate solutions that address the needs of clients/stakeholders
- Partner with respective BAU domain leads to execute growth and change plans including platform migration and people development and support daily operational tasks
- Act as a subject matter expert on procedural matters, and be the funnel for communication with the global teams
