Key Responsibilities

The role requires strong experience in Data Management and.

• Capture and understand the data through discovery, profiling, and benchmarking tools and capabilities.
• Improve the quality of the data with validation, data cleansing, and data enrichment.
• Manage the data with metadata-driven ETL and ELT, and data integration applications
• Manage data pipelines to be tracked and traced with end-to end data lineage.
• Control the data with tools that actively review and monitor.
• Document the data so that it can be augmented by metadata to increase its relevance, searchability, accessibility, linkability, and compliance.
• Apply a data governance framework, with a focus on continued improvement of data quality and strict adherence to the agreed Trust and Classification processes.
• Follow the guidelines related to data governance and data quality and ensure clear accountability.
• Deliver status updates on data quality by updating a Data Quality dashboard
• Follow standards, policies and processes regarding data quality management
• Monitor and track data quality issues, identify gaps, and apply action plans to remediate gap
• Operational familiarity in the use of meta-data management, data quality, and data stewardship tools and platforms
• Experience in the use of data catalogues and data quality technologies
• Empower the people that know the data best, to contribute to the data stewardship tasks with self-service tools.

Technical skills requirement

Must have:

• Experience in Ataccama Data Governance platform
• Experience in Data Catalogue or Data Privacy or Data Quality
• Strong proficiency in SQL/PLSQL

Good to have

• Exposed to Master Data Management
• Good experience with Unix scripting and Python
• Experience on Banking and Capital Markets domains

People responsibilities

• Prior Client facing skills and proven ability in effective planning, executing and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and inter-personal skills
• Ability to quickly understand and learn new technology/feature

Skills and attributes for success

• Evolve and Optimize the enterprise data for future use cases
• Banking data experience with functional knowledge on Customer, Leasing and/or Payment Gateway domains
• Data Management & Governance expertise level competency
