Your day-to-day
Managing a rapidly evolving technology stack on a diverse set of platforms ranging fromiOS, Android andRestservices;
Facilitating and driving key technology decisions with senior technology stakeholders;
Attracting, retaining and building top notchmobile developmentengineering talent;
Be a mentor, technical leader and thought leader for a talented team ofiOS, Androidand backend engineers, challenging them and helping them grow;
Partnering withproduct,technology, program management and analyticsstakeholders to balance aggressive roadmap against engineering principles;
Building a culture of learning and sharing technology insights across the technology teams;
Driving consistent practices in hiring, training and development across the technology organization;
Bring innovation to the table that helps in improving the resiliency of products you are responsible for, sell your ideas and be part of the change;
Looking for continuous improvement in productivity and quality;
Tracking business impact of features on a regular basis, andrelyon performance data to make informed decisions about possible changes or improvements;
Deep collaboration with cross functional engineering and product teams to evolve the reporting platform;
What do you need tobring
8+ years of working experience BS/MS in Computer Science
2+ years of experience inmanaging and growing engineering teamsthat are responsible for large scale&high volumemobile applications.
Experience in designing, implementing and maintaining high performance, high availability,large-scalemobileapplications;Experience with mobile development frameworks and 3rdparty tools;
Excellent communication skills and ability to grasp and convey complex product requirements or technical concepts;
Ability to work in a fast paced, agile development environment;
Ability to partner with business units, product management,programmanagement and cross-functional teams to deliver business results with agility andhighquality;
Experience building and managing highly effective engineering teams, conducting performance reviews, making compensation decisions and recruiting talent;
Excellent time management skills and ability to work on concurrent assignments with different priorities;
Provenresults orientedperson with focus on customer experience and delivering quality products;
Solid knowledge of algorithms and design patterns;
Solid knowledge ofiOS and Android ecosystems and backend services;
Strong Agile skills and proven track record for product delivery;
Entrepreneurial drive, demonstrated ability to achieve stretch goals in an innovative and fast paced environment;
Demonstrated development team building and people management skills;
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
