The Director, FP&A is responsible for leading, coordinating and operationalizing weekly and quarterly financial processes as well as supporting the the quarterly global sales target setting process. This role will help West achieve its quarterly financial revenue targets which requires extensive coordination with the Global SIOE process and Executive leadership. To meet the revenue targets, this role will collaborate with multiple stakeholders including Executive leadership (CFO, COO, CCO) and coordinate the inputs with Global SIOE to assess the financial impact of decisions and escalations. Clear communication, critical thinking, team problem solving, decision making, and escalation management are core responsibilities of this role as well as presenting weekly to key members of the Executive leadership team. This role is site agnostic and global in nature.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Lead, coordinate, and administer the weekly Global Executive Quarter End Close (QEC) process, including coordinating prework, preparing the content and presentations, facilitating weekly

meetings, capturing action items, and follow-up to ensure accountability and execution of decisions and escalations.

• Develops and ensures organizational adoption of Global Executive QEC operating and governance models as well as policies in close coordination with the Global SIOE process.

• Provide weekly updates to key Executives (CFO, COO, CCO, Market Unit and Operations leads) in QEC meetings outlining actual/projection versus target as well as facilitate discussion and

decision for escalated issues.

• Evaluate financial impact of escalated issues to provide adequate decision support for trade-off discussions in the QEC forum.

• Ensure the SIOE output is properly integrated into the QEC process to assure decisions are properly escalated, discussed, and decided/resolved in QEC with Executive involvement. Follow up on

actions to ensure timely resolution of issues.

• Document and communicate key actions and decisions to drive organizational alignment and execution with Global SIOE.

• Review the QEC and Financial Target setting process to ensure its alignment with contemporary best practices and is suitable for our dynamic business needs.Drives continuous improvement to
automation and technology including using existing tools, dashboards, and analytical tools.

• Hold contributing personnel, including leadership, to account for agreed actions, mitigation of risk and realization of opportunities as identified in the QEC process. Escalate as appropriate.

• Support Global SAP S4 HANA implementation work where required.

• Performs other duties as assigned based on business needs.


Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience required


Work Experience:

  • 10-12 years of relevant work experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Finance Business Partnering, General Accounting, or other related areas in a global manufacturing/B2B environment required

Licenses and Certifications

  • MBA, CMA and/or CPA preferred

Travel Requirements

  • 10%: Up to 26 business days per year


Physical Requirements
