As a trusted customer advocate, you will help organizations understand best practices around advanced cloud-based solutions, and how to migrate existing workloads to the cloud.You will work with some of the biggest and most prestigious businesses in the UK and Ireland, diving deep into their requirements, explaining our value and capabilities, in order to drive new business.Key job responsibilities
Key job responsibilities* Engage with Solution Architects, Account Managers, Professional Services, and Partners to define an Flex compute engagement strategy for AWS operational territories and key accounts.
* Thought Leadership – Provide thought leadership on solutions that benefit customers through the use of AWS Services. This takes the form of contribution to external publications such as the AWS Compute Blog, whitepapers and reference architectures, as well as internal training of Solutions Architects, Professional Services Consultants, Technical Account Managers, and AWS Trainers* Assist solution providers with the definition and implementation of technical and business strategies.* Understand AWS market segments, and industry verticals.
* Understand and exploit the use of internal business support systems.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or equivalent, or experience in a professional field or military
- Experience in IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
- Experience within specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics).
- Experience in design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
- Experience communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including executive level stakeholders or clients
