As an intern, you will be matched to a manager and a mentor. You will have the opportunity to influence the evolution of Amazon technology and lead mission critical projects early in your career. Your design, code, and raw smarts will contribute to solving some of the most complex technical challenges in the areas of distributed systems, data mining, automation, optimization, scalability, and security – just to name a few.
To qualify, applicants should be enrolled in a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Doctor’s degree, and expected to graduate in the following year.
Key job responsibilities
• Analyze large-scale geospatial and network coverage data to identify optimization opportunities.
• Develop and refine predictive models to improve the accuracy of Sidewalk’s coverage estimations.
• Implement machine learning or statistical models to analyze network performance and recommend enhancements.
• Automate data processing pipelines to ensure efficient and scalable analysis.
• Work closely with engineering and product teams to translate insights into actionable improvements.
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear reports and visualizations.

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field at time of application and will graduate between 2025/12 to 2026/08.
• Can work as an intern for minimum 3 months duration.
• Knowledge of the syntax of languages such as Python, C/C++, Java.
• Knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals such as object-oriented design, algorithm design, data structures, problem solving, and complexity analysis.

- Speak, write, and read fluently in Mandarin
- • Currently enrolled in Master or Bachelor Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.
- • Will graduate between 2025/12 to 2026/08.
- • Can work as an intern for minimum 3 months duration.
- • Proficiency in the Python programming language.
- • Knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals such as algorithm design, data structures, problem solving, and complexity analysis.

- • Good English listening and speaking skills.
- • Experiences with Linux or other embedded systems is a plus.
- • Proficiency in Kotlin, Java, Javascript is a plus.
- • Understanding in computer network and/or wireless network is a plus.
