This role is covering a maternity cover for 10 - 12 months, ideally starting late January 2025.
Business Partnership
- Partner with business internal stakeholders to drive the early career hiring strategy on a yearly basis. Responsibility for the early career programs within Functions, Markets and Services businesses for UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa clusters.
- Manage conversations with internal stakeholders and cluster head business heads regarding headcount, hiring targets and early careers talent initiatives
- Partner closely with the global early career product heads in NAM
- Present early career updates at talent/steering committee meetings including end of year recruitment presentations. Globally representing the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa clusters when necessary
- Act as the early career talent acquisition representative and subject matter expert in relevant Talent workstreams and initiatives
- Provide and share with your business partners and the wider team early careers markets trends
Talent Acquisition
- Reporting to the Early Career Head for International (Asia, LATAM and UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa)
- Responsibility for recruitment delivery and execution of the Markets, Services (Securities Services and Treasury and Trade Solutions) and Functions programs across UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa clusters
- Line manage a team of 6 recruiters including team members based in LATAM, South Africa and the UAE
- Ensure your recruitment team meets core compliance and risk goals
- Global project exposure, supporting and representing UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa clusters
- Review and innovate recruitment processes and procedures to ensure consistency both globally and within the UK, Europe, Middle East and Africa clusters when necessary
- Partner with the Diversity and Inclusions teams to ensure involvement and awareness of all early career diversity programs, helping to drive D&I initiatives within your business areas
- Attend and facilitate early events when required
- Escalation point for recruitment issues.
What we’ll need from you:
- Experience in a large, complex corporate organization preferred- open to industry background- Financial services experience not essential
- Extensive knowledge of the early careers market
- Knowledge and exposure of working across multiple countries
- Previous line management experience desirable
- Proven effective stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Proficient data management skills
