What you'll do
- Manage the end-to-end royalty analysis process for BAC, acting as the single point of contact for all royalty-related topics.
- Own, support, and promote the use of the next-generation Budget & Forecast reporting tools in ISP and BWP across the Controlling community.
- Support License Sales Commissions budget planning, forecasting, and related analysis, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
- Analyze actuals vs. plan, investigate variances, and prepare clear, executive-ready commentaries.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, Regional and Global Controlling Teams, to provide actionable insights and identify cost optimization opportunities.
- Help reduce the risk of overpayments by implementing structured investigation approaches and maintaining constant focus within GLRM.
- Conduct simulations and scenario modeling to support decision-making.
- Maintain and improve expense reporting tools using SAP Analytics Cloud, ISP and BWP.
- Drive continuous improvement in data quality, reporting efficiency, and automation.
What you bring
- Strong analytical mindset and curiosity, with the ability to go beyond the numbers and understand the “why”.
- Proactive problem-solver, comfortable working both independently and in virtual, cross-functional teams.
- Solid skills in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivots, charts) and PowerPoint; excellent time management and ability to prioritize under pressure.
- Experience or familiarity with SAP tools such as SAC, ISP, BWP, SAP CO/FI, or Business Warehouse (experience with at least one is required).
- Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to translate financial data into business insights.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably with a focus on Finance or Controlling.
- Previous experience in Controlling, FP&A, or Finance is highly valued.
