What you'll do...
What you'll do:
1. Develop and maintain Java-based backend services and applications.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and deliver high-quality software.
3. Design and implement robust, scalable, and high-performance APIs, microservices, and databases.
4. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices and coding standards.
5. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality and maintainability.
6. Troubleshoot and debug production issues, and provide timely resolutions.
7. Collaborate with frontend developers, UX designers, and product owners to deliver end-to-end solutions.
8. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies, and propose innovative solutions to improve system performance and efficiency.
9. Mentor and guide junior engineers, providing technical leadership and promoting best practices.
10. Participate in agile development methodologies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint retrospectives.
What you'll bring:
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
2. of professional experience in Java backend development. 3. Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Framework , and related technologies.
4. Experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs and web services.
5. Proficiency in and familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL ).
6. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., ) and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes ) is a plus.
7. Familiarity with modern software development practices, including version control (e.g., Git ), CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
8. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to debug and resolve complex technical issues.
10. Proven ability to mentor and guide junior engineers, promoting technical excellence and best practices.
