RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION:
Engineering role
Order hardware components involved in projects. Follow up on hardware orders with 3 party suppliers as well as internal.
Participate in proposal phase and project handover.
Coordinate complex SPOT jobs.
Performance Manager Role
Review system performance metrics and plan / manage accordingly.
Oversee all major upgrades and migrations.
Participate in all pre-outage planning meetings and support all Migrations.
Review and advise the site on all project activities affecting the control system
KEY SUCCESS FACTORS: Key Industrial / Technical Knowledge / Expertise
Keeping pace with new product development, while at the same time maintaining expertise in the old systems, and in the interfaces/upgrades between the old and new systems.
Working and managing multiple issues at a time.
ATTRIBUTES / SKILLS REQUIRED / SOUGHT
Generic Competencies:

Aware of personal qualities and limitations
EXPERIENCE / EDUCATION REQUIRED / SOUGHT:
Minimum a bachelor’s degree in electronics, automation or process technologies.
15+ Years experience on Honeywell DCS, sales support, project management, or maintenance functions within the industrial automation industry.
Strong analytical skills.
Effective, honest communications capabilities (good written and verbal skills).
Fluent in Dutch and English (verbal & written). French will be a plus
