Description
Evaluate and analyze trade-offs of state of the art panel designs, architecture, and related processesDefine panel technology development scope, requirements, and roadmap Collaborate with cross functional stake-holders to establish panel requirementsDefine panel electrical and optical architectures that enable the best display performance through total system optimization including pixel/panel design and process, interaction between backplane and frontplane, and frontplane architecture.Electrical and optical characterization of displays, conduct failure analysis and define corrective action DOEs
Minimum Qualifications
  • BS and a minimum of 3 years relevant industry experience
  • Experience in the development of active matrix displays or similar technologies
  • Experience with display technologies covering backplane and front-plane and their interdependencies
  • Background in display panel technology development, and panel technology integration
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge in flat panel display technologies, panel design, related fabrication processes, device physics, and optoelectronics is a plus
  • Experience in panel testing, validation, failure analysis, and defining corrective DOEs
  • Proficiency in data analysis using coding languages such as Python or Matlab
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $143,100 and $264,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
