Finally, you should be team-oriented, knowing that your success will be based on how you help others succeed. The position will involve frequent interaction with PayPal leaders and external partners. Travel may be occasionally required, but minimal. The role is based in Dublin, Ireland, or London, UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the partnership including prioritization of key focus areas, structuring / negotiation of new initiatives, and ongoing partner management.
  • Develop and execute programs/projects with our global partners to further PayPal’s strategic goals and overall positioning in key verticals and markets
  • Responsible for partner performance tracking/reporting, and project management activities
  • Lead Quarterly Business Reviews with top executives internally and externally, and regular reporting, analysis, and relationship updates to executives at PayPal and partner organizations.
  • Provide your expertise in discussing global payment trends, rules and regulations withinternal stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with PayPal’s regulatory and compliance requirements, and ensure core partner operations responsibilities are being fulfilled
  • Keep a pulse on the competitive payments landscape; continually seek opportunities for PayPal to optimize our operations and deploy new products/services in a timely andefficient manner
  • Provide your expertise in discussing global payment trends, rules and regulations withinternal stakeholders

  • Deep understanding of newproducts/technologiesin payments and banking
  • Comfort using data to evaluate hypotheses and tocommunicate ideas
  • Ability to identify, prioritize, and executepartnership opportunities
  • Track record of delivering tangible results with partners
  • Excellent negotiation skills, and superior communication andinfluencing skills
  • Appetite to learn and adapt quickly and comfortablewith uncertainty


What do you need to bring:

  • 5+ years’ experience in related fields, with expertise in banking or payments
  • Enterprise-level business development or relationship management experience
  • Experience in managing external partners/vendors ; strongrelationship-managementand commercialnegotiation skills
  • Track record of working independently and effectively in a cross-functional and matrixed environment
