Objective:

This role is overall responsible for planning for and executing against set Key Performance Indicators using their knowledge to successfully deliver in complex environments, respond to challenges, and ensure effectiveexecution of their goals. Manager has ownership of projects and is responsible for monitoring and delivering against project timelines and KPIs. They are required to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, and they are expected to leverage their functional expertise to support senior leaders. This role will develop and implement Talent tools and guidance from EM and HQ for own retail stores that will support all talent development aspects including but not limited to performance management, succession, leadership development, betterment etc.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement the integrated talent management approach in own retail stores by providing clear guidance at every junction of the cycle. (90-day plan, Performance Standard, Touchbase etc.)
  • Leverage internal talent management tools and platforms to ensure consistent, objective performance evaluations, and identify high-potential employees for accelerated development.
  • Establish a clear strategy of Know-Grow-Flow for Retail talents with the EM Retail Directors providing long-term career paths to our retail talents for leadership positions, working closely with HRBPs & Line Managers to create robust Individual Development Plans and progression plans for these future leaders.
  • Plan and Develop programs for store and field leadership teams partnering with Market Sales Academy to establish a team of best-in-class talent and support in creation of a succession pipeline.
  • Partner with Talent acquisition to build the right strategies to bring the best of talent from outside where there is a gap in the talent landscape. Also, partner with TA to provide upskilling to the line managers to hire the best talents.
  • Design and rollout activation of tools and frameworks that promote the desired culture in the organizations such as company’s Values, Leadership Framework, and other key behavioural standards, in partnership with the key stakeholders.
  • Drive the learning culture and provide time-to-time upskilling on career development tools, IDP building and learning opportunities.
  • Co-create retail recognition program for the market along with HUB team and own implementation to lead to an inspiring employee experience.
  • Lead efforts to foster an inclusive work environment within retail by driving Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) strategies. Ensure that DEI principles are integrated into talent acquisition, development, and succession planning processes.
  • Contribute to channeling of information between Global Retail HR/ Talent organization and business.
  • Upskill Retail HRBPs and business teams (if needed) on core retail talent programs and initiatives.

Professional background

  • Minimum 5-6 years progressive work experience in in HR/ Retail HR or Talent CoE experience preferably in an international organization
  • Experience in the implementation of Talent and Organizational Development programs preferably within Retail environment.

  • University degree or post graduate degree preferably with a focus in Talent Management, HRM
  • Additional specialized certifications in talent based or learning and development tools preferred
