Your role and responsibilities

The Technology Expert Labs Seller identifies, progresses, and closes Expert Labs services within the territory that drive revenue streams and increased IBM Technology adoption with customers.

  • Technology Expert Labs Service business owner/principal for the given territory
  • Required to face customer directly to work proactively to general service opportunities and drive to achieve assigned expert lab Service revenue and ACV signing target
  • Capability to package service offering and presentation to customer
  • As owner to drive deal closing end to end: opps identify and qualify, proposal presentation, price& T&C negotiation, contract close etc.
  • Work with delivery team to manage project delivery issues and achieve customer satisfactory

  • Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets over the past 7+ years.
  • Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of the professional services industry, including trends, market dynamics, and competitor landscape.
  • Client Relationship Management: Proficiency in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions.
  • Sales Strategy Development: Ability to develop strategic sales plans, identify key opportunities, and execute tactics to drive revenue growth.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation skills to effectively close deals, handle objections, and secure favorable terms for both the company and the client.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate value propositions, conduct presentations, and engage with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Team Collaboration: Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to ensure a cohesive sales approach.
  • Adaptability and Resilience: Capacity to adapt to changing market conditions, handle rejection, and persist in pursuing sales objectives with a positive attitude.
