What You’ll Do
- Management Responsibility including but not limited to interviewing and hiring candidates for open positions, onboarding, establishing goals, enabling growth and development plans, assigning or delegating work, providing on-the-job training, giving guidance to staff, conducting performance evaluations, approving paid time-off (PTO), and developing performance improvement plans
- Align with APAC senior sales leadership to develop, implement and evolve processes, sales strategies, training and tools in support of APAC sales growth with a focus on scalability and automation while maintaining a global mindset
- Partner with APAC sales teams to understand and diagnose new business requirements, regional needs, field readiness, and key pain points for prioritization and delivery
- Collaborate with leaders of worldwide sales operations team to ensure global functional alignment in the areas of sales incentive compensation, sales BI & analytics, deal desk, field enablement, operations transaction support and program management
- Proactively monitor and maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, global process consistency and opportunities for improvement
- Develop and maintain a unified APAC sales operations team culture with the focus on enabling the success of our APAC sales teams
- Stay abreast of global and local trends within sales operations and enablement and partner with global sales operations leadership to adopt new approaches as appropriate
- Provide proactive thought leadership around new initiatives and programs
- Regularly interacts with APAC senior management, including HQ executive levels
- Establish and implement performance measures designed to track and report progress against sales strategy and operational goals in a regular and consistent manner
- Responsible for directing the planning, staffing, budgeting and expense prioritization for the APAC sales operations team along with recommending and ultimately implementing changes to associated methods
- Identify critical opportunities, including resources, for cross-geographical and or cross-functional collaboration in order to achieve strategic initiatives
- Managing/coordinating3rd-party vendors and contractors as required
- Position will require regional and international travel, including regular travel to corporate headquarters
- Responsible for upholding F5’s Business Code of Ethics and for promptly reporting violations of the Code or other company policies
- Performs other related duties as assigned
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent level of experience; MBA a plus
- 5+ years in a leadership role overseeing sales operations or field operations professionals and functions
- Demonstrated business knowledge and highly relevant and recent experience in the sales or sales operations functions at the executive level
- Demonstrated ability to effectively lead a functionally matrixed and geographically distributed APAC team
- Transformational experience within a rapidly evolving, high-growth company environment
- Exceptional analytical skills and conceptual thinking ability
- Experience in managing managers or supervisors
- Proven ability to design and build teams and develop talent
- Extensive forecasting and revenue recognition experience
- Excellent executive-level communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship skills

- Experience working for a US based organization
- Experience with channel partner go-to-market organization
- Requires the ability to influence up and across the Sales and HQ organization to gain acceptance on sales and/or sales operations initiatives
- In-depth understanding of sales processes, operational issues and sales objectives with experience in enterprise enablement methods
- Proven team and cross functional leadership skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated success managing complex projects from start to finish, working effectively across internal functional teams and external vendor relationships
- Ability to thrive in an unstructured environment with minimal supervision
