You’ll make an impact as you:
- Identify and qualify the AC and DC charging portfolio as well as other hardware products and systems required to provide our services.
- Engage with potential partners in developing robust technical, product, and business relationships.
- Identify, qualify and curate adjacent software partner relationships required to improve our services in North America and globally.
- Gather the needed market- and customer requirements and own the product and technology requirement specification.
- Take the lead in defining the right hardware portfolio derived from our customer use cases and applications e.g. long-haul transport, last mile applications, regional transport, and utility services with their respective needs for charging.
- In the spirit of picking up a screwdriver yourself, you will be tasked with testing charging and other hardware on your own and/or jointly with colleagues from R&D and project support, along with other internal and external test resources.
- Partners are essential to develop further our service and underlying hardware portfolio – you identify and manage defined strategic partnerships with established and new players in the logistic and road-based transportation market.
- Actively seek information about the market and technology developments; participate in conferences and customer meetings; and ultimately assist Siemens to reach and maintain a market-leading position for electrified transportation services.
You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required (a focus in engineering or business administration preferred) with proven execution and insights into technical business areas.
- Proficiency in English.
- Experience in the charging infrastructure market and with commercial fleets, ideally within an organization installing and operating charging infrastructure.
- You have experience within portfolio management.
- You have a good understanding of business modeling and setting up of business cases
- Proven experience initiating and maintaining partner relationships, in addition to presenting to partners, customers, and internal collaborators.
- Ability to travel up to 30% at times, including internationally to participate in fairs, conferences, trade shows, customer events, etc.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working for international corporations in the US or Canada.
- Proficient in French, German, or Spanish.

The salary range for this position is $120,540 - $206,640.
