What You’ll Do What You’ll Bring
- Manage & develop technical trainers
- Create, manage and maintain training facility operational standards to ensure the optimal execution and delivery of learning programs (in-person and virtual)
- Manage fleet, tooling, and equipment for training use. Order and inventory parts and consumables for training use
- Earn and maintain expertise in Tesla products and liaise with internal partners to stay up to date on product development and new product releases
- Partner with other learning and development team members to develop and maintain training content. Stay current on industry trends and emerging functional practices, educational theories, and technical tools
- Measure, report, and provide insight to assist in the review of the effectiveness of learning programs
- Comply with all Tesla safety rules, guidelines, and standards
- 5-7 years of experience in learning and development or technical training, preferably in the automotive or collision industry. At least 2+ years of experience leading teams, managing resources, and coordinating efforts within a lean distributed environment across multiple time zones
- Proven ability to work independently and manage large complex projects or teams within a matrixed organization
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with a high degree of professionalism. Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with internal and external partners. Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and navigate through an ambiguous environment; enjoys challenges
- Ability to deliver results through influence without authority
- Ability to work independently in limited supervision environment. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Office
- 60% travel domestically and international based on business needs
- Capable of lifting 50lbs and driving a forklift
