Your Role and Responsibilities As a Project Manager you will be placed at customer location and will have to demonstrate expertise in IT Operations. You are expected to work on planning & scheduling the timeline, execution, Risk Identification & Mitigation, Monitoring & controlling, Quality control & Safety. will need to visit the domestic client’s offices / data centres on a daily basis or on an as-needed basis as part of this role.
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership to the IT Operations team that provides system operations, change management, configuration management, user support, IT security, database administration, and training.
Ensure delivery within primary area of Request Fulfilment / Incident resolution within contractual SLAs.
Maintain constant communication with managers, staff, and vendors to ensure proper operations of the company.
Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols.
Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company’s internal capacity.
Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget.
Track staffing requirements, hiring new employees as needed.
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable departments.
Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, including career development plans for direct reports and problem resolution.
Manage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and deliver excellent customer service.
Partner with cross-functional teams to improve proprietary tools and systems.
Work closely with legal and safety departments to ensure that activities remain compliant.
Oversee materials and inventory.
Conduct budget reviews and report cost plans to upper management.
Strong skills in budget development and oversight
Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer service.
Proficiency in conflict management and business negotiation processes
Knowledge of business productivity software and an aptitude for learning new applications
Experience of leading the technical team.Ready to work on 24/7 shifts to support client requirement.
Required Technical and Professional Expertise
8 Years of relevant experience in Project Management
Experience in IT infrastructure projects, planning, implementation, and administration across multiple domains, as well as experience in end- to-end IT Operations.
Graduation/Engineering in Computer or Electronics.
Ability to lead projects related to IT changes, IT setup and new process setup by coordination with multiple arms of IT team.
Demonstrate Problem Solving & analytical skills in IT Infrastructure domain both IT hardware & software / applications Experience in projects, planning, implementation, and administration in multiple domains.
Documentation skills for generating process and procedure documents is added advantage.
