Analyst – Asset Backed Securitisation & Financing (Paris)

You will have the opportunity to work across UK, Europe, Middle East & Africa with financial institutions, fintech companies, private equity firms, hedge funds, governments. and corporates to originate, execute and close public and private securitisations of financial assets and provide asset advisory services.

What you’ll do

• Originate and execute securitisation and advisory roles across multiple asset classes (e.g. SME Loans, Consumer Loans, auto Loans and Leases, Leveraged Loans, Credit Cards, Residential Mortgages)
• Support the syndication of public securitisations to institutional investors
• Modelling and Data analysis
• Putting together presentations for internal and external stakeholders
• Work in close partnership with internal control functions such as Legal, Compliance, and Risk to ensure appropriate governance and controls
• Working with lawyers in documenting a transaction
• Working with partners across Citi to develop new clients

What we’ll need from you

• Bachelors University degree or higher
• 0-2 years of finance experience
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships both internally and externally
• Strong analytical skills, knowledge of VBA and/or python is a plus
• Ability to work with and manage different stakeholders
• Fluent in English and French. Other European language would be positively viewed.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop significant client origination relationships skills andresponsibilities.The role will provide the ability to develop credit knowledge and execute transactions around multiple asset classes, in addition to developing broad based internal relationships due to the multi-disciplinary approach.
