Who You Are
- First and foremost: an engineer who knows networks – route, switch, ACLs, policy maps, netflow, etc
- Strong skillset with Python, especially against APIs and with data
- Proven record of developing automated solutions and ability to understand and maintain previously developed automation scripts
- Significant experience root causing/troubleshooting/diagnosing network operation
- High competence with CI/CD & git repository usage
- Willingness to provide on-call support
- Excellent time management, follow-through, and attention to detail.
- Bachelor of Science Degree and/or 5+years of relevant experience preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with ThousandEyes or similar testing based performance analytics
- CCNP certification and/or DevNet (or willing to achieve this)
- Prior experience working on incident and change management

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to influence and communicate effectively to technical teammates , technical managers and senior business leaders
