Ensuring that all technology transactions and deployments are legally sound and comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Working with Legal, Compliance and business teams to implement regulatory changes and respond to regulatory inquiries.
Resolving disputes with technology vendors and suppliers.
Updating and training internal clients on relevant legal developments related to technology.
Structuring collaborative alliances with academic institutions, governments and industry partners related to technology.
Partnering with business, regulatory, and government relations stakeholders to engage and help guide regulatory and industry policy globally related to technology.
Providing strategic advice to internal clients that balance business objectives and legal risk.
Required Skills:
Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
Active member in good standing of at least one state bar
At least 7 years of experience at a law firm and/or in-house legal department of a government agency, technology company, or bank or other financial services company
