About the role:

Independently leads complex initiatives for the daily support of products, processes, materials, and equipment to achieve production goals (i.e., quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and safety).

You're Responsibilities include:

• May execute the following responsibilities:

• Drives complex or novel assignments requiring the development of new or improved techniques and procedures. Work is expected to result in the development of new or refined technologies, products, materials, processes, equipment, and or scientific method and may broaden BSC’s Intellectual Property in key strategic areas.

• Serves as a key resource or expert in one or more of the following: technology development, product design and development, test of materials, preparation of specifications, process study, and report preparation.

• Provides guidance to product, process, and technology teams.

• Influences decisions around alternative engineering processes, products, or equipment.

• Drives project goals and progress and influences appropriate revisions.

• Leads complex cross-functional teams or acts as an internal consultant to ensure successful completion of project goals.

• Trains, mentors, and/or provides work direction to technicians and engineers.

Problem Solving

Develops solutions to diverse business problems of high complexity which require the regular use of ingenuity and creativity. Analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of various factors. Exercises judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. Has specialized knowledge of various alternatives and their impact on the business. Challenges are frequently unique and solutions may serve as precedent for future decisions. Examples of application:

1. Complaints issues.

1. High Complex CAPAs where Root Cause is not evident or affecting various Sites.

Planning and Organization

Plans and organizes project assignments of substantial variety and complexity. Initiates or maintains schedule for projects and project milestones. Examples of aplication:

1. Start Projects affecting the Site

1. Complex Acquisitions

1. Transfer Projects between BSC Sites

1. New or Advanced Technology Implementation on the Site.

1. Validation projects due to Process Changes, Mold Changes, Vendors changes, Material changes, Shelf-Life changes, Specification changes.

Has a Strong relationship with Divisional management, including Research and Development, Process Development, Design Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs and Marketing.

Serves as a consultant to management and special external spokesperson for the organization on major matters pertaining to its policies, projects, or objectives. Uses diplomacy and tact to diffuse high tension situations, particularly with senior level internal and external contacts. Occasionally escalates the most serious issues to manager.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering field.

• English Level desired: Advanced

• Experience: minimum 8 years technical expertise on medical industry

• Or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

• Desired knowledge: Validations, Six Sigma methodology, VIPs, CAPAs, ISO, Quality syste.
