Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead NetApp's data and AI literacy initiatives, enhancing and expanding engagement and impact with employees, customers, and community partners.
- Develop engaging, age-appropriate curriculum and activities to introduce fundamental data and AI concepts and skills.
- Innovate and scale signature volunteer opportunities supporting data and AI literacy for children and youth.
- Partner with internal and external stakeholders to create a comprehensive training pipeline for underrepresented groups, leading to data/AI roles and careers.
- Develop and establish a data and AI literacy hub in partnership with internal and external stakeholders to broaden access to data and AI literacy, skills and careers.
- Administer grantmaking initiatives, from identifying potential grantees to overseeing the grantmaking process and measuring and reporting impact.
- Evaluate and report the impact of our programs regularly, using data to drive continuous improvement.
- Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a positive experience.
- Stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in data and AI literacy.
- Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders about our social impact programs and initiatives.
- Manage vendors and budget.
- Handle special projects as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- A minimum of 8+ years of relevant professional experience is required for this role.
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Education, or a related field preferred. Advanced degree a plus.
- Demonstrated experience in data science, AI, or a related field.
- Experience in educational program development, particularly for children and youth.
- Strong understanding of data science and AI concepts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent project management skills.
- Ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
- Passion for social impact and a commitment to creating positive change.
- Proven ability to foster strong cross-functional collaboration.
