Embedded Software Development Engineer – Emergency Care

Your role:

• Participate in requirements definition, design creation, development, and documentation of the embedded C++ product software, and create automated unit tests and integration tests within the chosen frameworks.
• In this pivotal role, you will significantly impact the development of advanced cardiac resuscitation devices, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and reliability by participating in design and code reviews and FMEAs.You will work with a dynamic team of around 20 engineers in Eindhoven, collaborating globally with colleagues in Bangalore and Bothell (USA), as well as with stakeholders and cross-functional teams.

• This role offers a unique opportunity to develop as a Technical Product Owner/Software Project Lead where you will guide the team in defining, prioritizing, and delivering features, creating, and executing project plans, and ensuring compliance with stringent quality norms.

You're the right fit if:

• You have a BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• You have a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in embedded software development, with a strong knowledge of C++.
• A plus if you have experience in software project management or as a Product Owner in an Agile development environment.
• You thrive in cross-functional teams, are a self-starter, and enjoy taking the lead in a dynamic and innovative setting.
