Job Description
  • Manages production support engineering for a specific product or group of products after transfer from design to high volume production
  • Responsible for wafer level / package level test program enhancement & change buy-off
  • Responsible for Failure Analysis & test program debug to provide solution for product yield improvement to meet yield and quality target, and special material disposition
  • Interfaces with design, technology, process, quality and reliability engineering to solve problems
  • Early Involve with Product Design Team ahead of production, and bring back the production best practice into design & development phase
  • Sustains products to be competitive with cost reduction, throughput enhancement, quality improvement and yield improvements, through process/test program fine tune, failure analysis, data analysis, and with leveraging experiment or volume data of production
  • Develops and implements test strategies to improve overall product quality and reliability
  • Conducts root cause analysis on test failures and implements corrective actions
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to optimize test flows and reduce test times
  • Monitors and analyzes test data to identify trends and potential issues
  • Participates in new product introduction (NPI) activities, ensuring smooth transition from development to production
  • Develops and maintains documentation for test procedures, methodologies, and best practices
  • Provides technical guidance and mentoring to junior engineers in the team
  • Stays current with industry trends and emerging technologies in semiconductor test engineering
  • Contributes to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall test engineering processes

Education:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronic Engineering, Communication, Physics, Material Science, or related field.

Required:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in test engineering or related field.
  • Proficiency in test program development and optimization.
  • Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes.

Preferred:

  • Good knowledge of CMOS and electronic circuits.
  • Understanding of C/C++/Java programming languages.
  • Experience with automated test equipment (ATE) and test methodologies.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and data interpretation techniques.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and quality control processes (e.g., ISO, Six Sigma).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to achieve results in a fast-moving, dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems.
  • Proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Experience with failure analysis techniques and tools.
