As an FSO Business Systems Analyst, you’ll be based in our Service Delivery Center, which is made up of high-performing US-based colleagues who work closely with our experienced advisory professionals. We deliver Technology project-based work and managed services to our clients. Here, you’ll work as part of a project team and will be responsible for the design, build/configuration, testing, analysis, delivery and support of Technology solutions. This position is fast-paced and ever-changing, which means you’ll need to be a flexible self-starter and be able to manage changing priorities and learning new and rapidly changing technology solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
  • Document system requirements via process/workflow diagrams based upon analysis of system capabilities.
  • Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop detailed functional specifications and use cases.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings to elicit requirements and validate solutions.
  • Work closely with IT teams to ensure that business requirements are translated into technical specifications.
  • Conduct data analysis to support decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders to communicate findings and recommendations.
  • Identify high-level risks, assumptions, and constraints, then implement approved actions and workarounds to minimize the impact of risks on the project.
  • Communicate any development roadblocks to leadership and facilitate resolution.
  • Effectively use the tools required for implementing business systems analysis and provide thought leadership for the growth of the toolset and functionality to aid in technology delivery.

To qualify for the role you must have

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or other related field
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience
  • Experience in large-scale project delivery, including discovery, design, and release.
  • Broad knowledge of the IT function and how IT enables business through effective and strategic target state solutioning.
  • Knowledge of standard IT methodologies and processes, such as systems development life cycles, product management, PMBOK, Prince2, Six Sigma, and/or CMMI.
  • Comfortable working in an Agile and cross-functional environment.

Ideally, you’ll also have

  • Experience working in the financial services or professional services industry.
  • Experience working with executive IT or business leadership.
  • Demonstrated communication and facilitation skillsets, including presenting to stakeholders from multiple areas within the organization (e.g., Operations, Legal and Compliance, Engineering, Architecture, etc.).
  • Relevant industry certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, SAFe) are a plus.

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $55,400 to $113,000. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $66,600 to $128,500. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
