What You’ll Do
  • Accountable for the quality ofincoming components, quality controls and assurance in production process, rootcause analysis and resolution of problems impacting internal and externalcustomers, continuous improvement and risk mitigation
  • Drive cross functional teams toachieve targets for field reliability, scrap and first pass yield
  • Development of manufacturingrequirements, quality standards and product quality plans to assure productswill meet expectations of our target customers
  • Deployment of manufacturinglevel requirements to subsystems, assemblies & components to assureclear focus on design and customer needs
  • Identification of criticalrequirements to assure proper supplier and production focus on critical needs
  • Leading development of FMEAs(Design & Process) for development teams to identify and address criticalrisks
  • Assist development with dimensionalanalysis, statistical tolerancing and other methods to investigate the effectsof part and process variability on system performance
  • Support process capability analysesto investigate the ability of suppliers and production processes to meetdefined specifications and quality standards
  • Design effective experimentsthrough DOE or other methods to support design and process teams ininvestigation of various alternatives to resolve quality issues
  • Manage and facilitate the rootcause & corrective actions system through tracking and validation of issuesand support in root cause analysis through facilitating brainstorming, use oflean methodologies, hypothesis testing, design of experiments, DMAIC, 8D,etc
What You’ll Bring
  • Degree in Electrical,Mechanical, Materials or Industrial Engineering, or evidence of exceptionalexperience in related fields
  • Six Sigmaor ASQ certification are preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of experience inquality engineering
  • Minimum 1 year of experience withelectro-mechanical assemblies
  • Specific training and demonstratedsuccess in applying design for quality, problem-solving methodologies, FMEA,process capability analysis, hypothesis testing, DoE and SPC
  • Strong background and demonstratedsuccess applying statistical methods
  • Minitab, JMP or other statisticalsoftware capabilities are preferred
  • Data mining, databases, scripting,and data visualization experience (e.g. MySQL, Python, Tableau, PowerBI, etc.)
  • Excellent oral and writtencommunication skills
  • Onsite presence required
