• A good undergraduate degree in a relevant subject e.g. Geology, Earth Science, Chemistry, Geography, Environmental or Engineering related discipline. An MSc in a relevant subject would be an advantage.
• Demonstrable track record in geo-environmental consulting or similar experience, ideally including a mixture of site and office-based work.
• Good digital skills including excel, with experience of GIS, EQUIS, Power BI and/or Python a bonus.
• Demonstrable commitment to health and safety.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work as part of a large multi-disciplinary team and build positive working relationships with colleagues, clients, regulators and site-based personnel.
• A full driving licence.
• The ability to produce well-presented and accurate reports is essential in this role and a willingness to learn new skills and apply them in a consultancy setting.
