AWS Specialist Solutions Architects (SSAs) are technologists with deep domain-specific expertise, able to address advanced concepts and feature designs. As part of the AWS sales organization, SSAs work with customers who have complex challenges that require expert-level knowledge to solve. SSAs craft scalable, flexible, and resilient technical architectures that address those challenges. This might involve guiding customers as they refactor an application or designing entirely new cloud-based systems.Key job responsibilities
• Working closely with our product and field teams, you will help enable new capabilities for our customers to develop and deploy data workloads on AWS infrastructure.• Design best in class DATA solutions for all stages of customer and product lifecycles.• You will have the technical depth and business experience to deploy data strategies, analytics, ML/AI and storage• Partner with SAs, Sales, Business Development and Service teams to accelerate customer adoption and revenue attainment.• You will also work closely with account teams, research scientists, and product teams to drive model implementations and new solutions.• Thought Leadership - Evangelize and stay ahead of FSI trends, regulations, and compliance requirements. Develop industry-specific solutions and represent AWS at key events and conferences and public-speaking events such as AWS Summit, AWS re: Invent, etc.• Act as a technical liaison between customers and the AWS teams to provide customer driven product improvement feedback.• Develop and support an AWS internal community of related subject matter experts and develop blogs, whitepapers and reference architectures

Your day will be filled with engaging challenges, from conducting technical deep-dives and workshops to presenting innovative solutions and proof of concept implementations to C-level executives. You will be at the heart of AWS's mission to empower customers business with the best in cloud technology, ensuring they use scalable, resilient, and cost-efficient architectures. Working closely with account Solution Architects and other customer facing teams.

- 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- 5+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 3+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

- Knowledge of AWS services, market segments, customer base and industry verticals
- Experience working with end user or developer communities
- 3+ years of experience in Financial Services Industry, communicating across technical and non-technical audiences, including at the C-level
